Located along Stone Canyon Road in the hills of Los Angeles is the extravagant Bel Air home bought by Jennifer Lopez, actress and singer best known for hits such as, “Jenny From The Block” and “On the Floor” and for starring in movies such as, Maid in Manhattan and The Wedding Planner. The home, which was previously owned by actress Sela Ward, is spread out over an 8-acre compound and features a 14,000 sq.ft. main house, two guest houses, pool, spa, and several other amenities. Originally listed for sale last September for $39,995,000, the home sold for $28 million, according to tax records.
Designed and decorated in a French Country-style, the home has amenities such as six fireplaces, French limestone counter tops, stone terraces, vaulted antique wood-beam ceilings, and 100-year old pine floors. Originally designed and built in 1940 by architect Samuel Marx, there are a total of 7-bedrooms and 13-baths.
